Secondhand Lions (2003)

Secondhand Lions is an off-beat, low-key celebration of life and honesty. The plot is weak and some of the action is unbelievable, but it’s all fun and a bit bittersweet. I wish there had been a more noticeable change in the Walter character. It is there to be sure, but a little more would have been nice. The theme of unbelievable tales being true and plausible ones being lies was very poignant. The most enjoyable part of the film is just watching wonderful characters interact.
